    Product Description:



    The ZW20-12(F) Boundary Load Switch is a new product that combines multiple functions into a single intelligent device. It incorporates the capabilities of a vacuum breaker, vacuum load switch, recloser, and sectionalizer, offering versatility and efficiency in various applications.

    The main components of the Boundary Load Switch include a vacuum breaker, a CH-40 controller, and an external voltage transformer. The vacuum breaker ensures reliable interruption of the circuit, while the CH-40 controller provides advanced protection, control, and communication functions. An external voltage transformer, which is optional for distribution automation line ring networks, can be utilized for bilateral PT (potential transformer) connections.

    This product finds widespread use in 10kV and 13kV city and rural power grid space ring networks. It serves as a disconnecting switch, contact switch, and automatic switch device for line load deployment in ring networks. Additionally, it can function as a boundary switch (commonly known as a watchdog) in branch power supply lines, as well as reclosers and sectionalizers in overhead distribution networks.

    The Boundary Load Switch offers remote management capabilities, enabling efficient monitoring and control. It incorporates protection and control functions along with communication features, facilitating seamless integration into distribution automation systems.

    The device employs reliable detection and judgment mechanisms, including the ability to detect mA-level zero-sequence current and short-circuit currents between phases. This allows for automatic removal of single-phase grounding faults and phase-to-phase short-circuit faults, enhancing the system's fault management capabilities.

    The main switch of the Boundary Load Switch utilizes vacuum arc technology, while the insulation system incorporates SF6 and N2 mixed gas insulation. The product incorporates gas sealing, explosion-proof, and insulation system technologies from Japan, Germany, and France, ensuring excellent overall sealing performance. The internal compartment is filled with SF6 and N2 mixed gas, which prevents leakage and ensures the device's performance remains unaffected by the external environment.

    The spring operating mechanism of the Boundary Load Switch is designed with miniaturization and performance optimization in mind, resulting in higher action reliability compared to traditional spring mechanisms. This design improvement enhances the overall operational efficiency and lifespan of the device.



    Controller Introduction:



    1.It can be equipped with a 485/232 communication interface, or achieve long-distance monitoring through fiber optics or wireless communication. After reclosing, it has an acceleration function: when the switch recloses due to a permanent fault.

    2.When a permanent fault occurs, it automatically accelerates to trip.

    3.Remote control/manual reclosing with acceleration to trip, and reclosing interlock: After the user repairs the line and restores power, if they forget to remove the grounding knife switch, it should accelerate to trip.

    4.The delay time for reclosing can be adjusted for all three attempts.

    5.The trip/reclosing circuit is designed to prevent false operation and has anti-reclosing functionality.

    6.Zero-sequence current can differentiate between faults inside and outside the zone.

    7.The remote control trip/reclosing adopts a design to prevent false operation.
